Rate of Return
The rate of return (RoR) is used to measure the profit or loss of an investment over time.
Record Date
A date on which the records of a company are closed for the purpose of determining the stockholders to whom dividends, proxies rights etc., are to be sent.
Risk Tolerance
Risk tolerance is a measure of the degree of loss an investor is willing to endure within their portfolio.Stock volatility, market swings, economic or political events, and regulatory, or interest rate changes affect an investor's tolerance for risk.
Rupee Cost Averaging
Strategy of making regular investments into a mutual fund and having earnings automatically reinvested. This way, when the share price drops, more shares are bought at lower prices.
Redemption
Redemption of Units of the Scheme as permitted under the respective scheme information document.
Risk
Risk takes on many forms but is broadly categorized as the chance an outcome or investment's actual gain will differ from the expected outcome or return.Risk includes the possibility of losing some or all of an investment.
