This notice is issued in public interest by HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (‘HDFC AMC’) which is inter alia acting as the investment manager for HDFC Mutual Fund. HDFC AMC is also acting as the investment manager for various Alternative Investment Funds; as also providing Portfolio Management Services as well as Advisory Services to clients. Detailed information regarding the same is available on this website.
The general public is hereby cautioned that certain unknown individuals, groups, or agencies have been trying to mislead or even defraud members of the public by wrongfully misusing the name of HDFC and publishing and/or circulating fake and fraudulent advertising material and brochures for inviting investments in non-existent schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund through social media platforms like Telegram, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Further, unauthorized and fake social media accounts, websites, mobile applications, etc. have also been created by misusing the name of
HDFC with the likely intention of misleading, cheating or defrauding members of the public.
Please note these are fraudulent activities and neither HDFC AMC nor any other HDFC group company or any of its distributors or their respective directors or employees have anything to do with these fraudsters and unauthorized persons. By using the HDFC AMC/HDFC Mutual Fund name as well as the HDFC logo and trademark at various places on the fraudulent advertisements, social media platforms etc. or fake profiles/accounts these fraudsters are trying to mislead and cheat the general public to part with their money in false schemes by wrongly portraying that these have been issued by HDFC AMC.
Please be advised that any person(s) that corresponds with any such individual, group, or agency in any manner whatsoever will be doing so at their own risk, as to costs and consequences. Such person(s) may be exposing themselves to the risk of falling prey to such fraudulent activities. Members of the general public are hereby warned that no one should respond to such fake solicitations. HDFC AMC or its group companies, distributors or their respective directors or employees shall not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss that anyone may suffer or incur owing to any transactions made with such unknown individuals, groups or agencies making false claims using such fake advertisements or applications or misusing the name of HDFC on social media platforms.
Members of public are also warned that HDFC AMC does not accept any cash for investments in HDFC Mutual Fund. Please be advised that investments in HDFC Mutual Fund can only be made through authentic channels using regular banking mode. For any inquiry, you may visit any of our branches.
