Nurture Nature 2026

This World Environment Day, HDFC Mutual Fund brings you Nurture Nature - Seed The Future, an initiative taken by the Company* which is focused on supporting climate-resilient millet farming and helping revive barren farmland in India.

With every eligible SIP registered digitally, the schemes will contribute towards supporting sustainable millet farming practices, helping rejuvenate land, strengthen farming communities, and build long-term environmental resilience.

Why This Initiative Matters

When the land struggles, lives struggle with it.

Across India, climate change is making farming increasingly difficult.
Unpredictable rainfall, water scarcity, and degrading soil are impacting farming communities and livelihoods.

Many regions are witnessing fertile farmland slowly turning barren, making it harder for farmers to sustain agriculture for future generations.

Through this initiative, we aim to support solutions that help restore the land while creating sustainable opportunities for farming communities

Why Millet Farming?

Millets are climate-resilient crops - Umeed ki fasal

  • Requires less water
  • Grow well in dry and resource-constrained regions
  • Help improve soil health
  • Support sustainable farming practices
  • Create long-term agricultural resilience

By supporting millet farming, we are supporting a future where farming can adapt better to changing climate conditions.
