In accordance with SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/IMD/DF3/CIR/P/ 2020/194 dated October 5, 2020, with effect from April 1, 2021 (“Effective Date”), the names of the Dividend Options under the Schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund (the Fund) shall stand revised as under:
- Dividend Payout Option / facility is revised as Payout of Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) Option / Facility
- Dividend Re-Investment Option / Facility is revised as Re-investment of Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) Option / Facility
- Dividend Transfer Plan / DTP Facility is revised as Transfer of Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) Plan / “TIP Facility”
Investors may note that the amounts can be distributed out of investor’s capital (Equalization Reserve), which is part of sale price that represents realized gains.
