An open ended Liquid scheme. A relatively low interest rate risk and moderate credit risk.

The Fund aims to invest in debt and money market instruments with residual maturity not exceeding 91 days, subject to regulatory changes from time to time. The investment team of the AMC will carry out an internal credit analysis of all securities included in the investment universe.

  • On investments made on or before October 19, 2019: NIL
  • On investments(Including through existing systematic plan registrations) made on or after October 20, 2019, as follows:

1. What is HDFC Liquid Fund?

2. Can I redeem my investment anytime?

Units of the scheme can be redeemed/switched out on any Business day at NAV based prices.


For Redemption (including switch-out) applications


• In respect of valid applications received upto 3.00 p.m. on a Business Day which is followed by a Business Day, same Business Day’s closing NAV shall be applicable.
•    In respect of valid applications received upto 3.00 p.m. on a Business Day which is followed by a Non-Business day, the closing NAV of the day immediately preceding the next Business Day shall be applicable.
• In respect of valid applications received after 3.00 p.m., the NAV applicability shall be same as for applications received up to 3.00 p.m. on the next Business day, as specified above.

Transactions through online facilities / electronic modes: 


The time of transaction done through various online facilities / electronic modes offered by the AMC, for the purpose of determining the applicability of NAV, would be the time when the request for purchase / sale / switch of units is received in the servers of AMC/RTA.


Note: Business Day does not include a day on which the Money Markets are closed or otherwise not accessible. 
The AMC has the right to amend cut off timings subject to SEBI (MF) Regulations for the smooth and efficient functioning of the Scheme.
 

3. How is liquid fund different from a savings account?

HDFC Liquid Fund aims to generate income over short term through a portfolio comprising money market and debt instruments with investment in Debt and Money Market instruments with residual maturity upto 91 days only.


Unlike a Savings Account, the returns of Liquid Funds are market linked, in line with the underlying instruments.

4. What is the exit load structure of HDFC Liquid Fund?

5. How much do I need to start investing?

Minimum Application Amount/ Switch In: 


Growth Option: Rs.100/- and any amount thereafter.
Daily IDCW Option: Rs.10,000/- and any amount thereafter.
Weekly IDCW Option and Monthly IDCW Option: Rs.5,000/- and any amount thereafter. 
Note: Allotment of units will be done after deduction of applicable stamp duty, If any.
